After a hearty breakfast, it’s time to meet your guide and head out for a tour of the Westport/Connemara Region

• Enjoy a guided tour of Westport House. Explore historic Westport House one of County Mayo’s best-loved attractions with beautiful parklands, lakes, and a fascinating history of Westport House that goes back to the 1500s when the famous Pirate Queen of Connaught, Grace O’Malley, built one of her castles here.
• Visit the ruins of 16th-century Murrisk Abbey and the National Famine Memorial.
• Tip your hat and acknowledge Ireland’s most famous Saint, St Patrick at the foot of Croagh Patrick (Ireland Holy Mountian).
• From there you will drive through the breathtaking Doolough Valley and learn of its tragic and haunting past.
• From there it’s through the scenic Delphi Valley to the shores of Killary Harbour, Ireland’s only fjord, and the village of Leenane.
• The village was the setting for the film “The Field” with Richard Harris.
• For lunch, you can opt to eat fresh Connemara mussels straight from the Fjord.
• Continue our journey to Clifden via Sky Road arguably the most beautiful corner of the Connemara region, with some of the most rugged and varied scenery in the county.
• Listen to toe-tapping Irish music in local iconic bars with Irish music playing seven nights a week in season.

We spend another day and night in the wilderness of Connemara, so you don’t need to repack your suitcase. Just relax and enjoy.

Behold the idyllic charm of the Inagh Valley, a sight that resembles a scene plucked from a pastoral painting.

As the sun nears its descent, return to the bustling village of Clifden, nestled at the heart of Connemara. Immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere that permeates the streets, teeming with color and merriment. 

Should you choose, embark on a journey to visit Clifden Castle, a Gothic marvel now left in historical ruin, a mere 2 kilometers from the town, offering a glimpse into the annals of local yore.

Alternatively, spoil yourself with the luxury of relaxation, and unwind within a steaming bath filled with Atlantic Seawater, infused with hand-harvested seaweed, found within the very heart of town.

This eve, once more, thy dwelling shall be in Clifden, where the night is yours!

Travel along the Wild Atlantic Way with your driver/guide via Galway Bay & The Burren Region

• From Clifden, we continue our journey through the lush rolling hills as we traverse the famous Lakelands of the Connemara Region towards Galway City.
• For several hours you can soak up the famous colorful atmosphere around the tribal city of Galway – the busker music, the cobblestone lanes, the contemporary flair that blends well with its medieval past, and of course, the oysters.
• After lunch, it’s time to explore the lunar landscape of the Burren and travel along the Wild Atlantic Way.
• Your first visit is at the 16th Century Dunguaire Castle on the outskirts of Kinvara. One of the most photographed castles in the whole of Ireland.
• Then it’s on through the glacial-karst landscape of the Burren and past Corcomroe Abbey.
• You will follow the Coast Road with views of Galway Bay and the Aran Islands, making a short stop to walk on the lunar-like landscape of the Burren
• Arrive in Doolin village in the late afternoon with plenty of time to visit the local craft shops, colorful cafes, and lively pubs.

Overnight in Doolin or Lahinch 

*At an extra expense, it’s also possible to spend a whole day on the Gaelic-speaking island of Inis Mor. You’ll be dropped off at Rossaveal in County Galway to catch a 40-minute boat trip to the island (€40 return). On the island, you can choose to explore the island by bus with a local guide or by bike. (€20 to €25). You will return on a 60-minute boat trip to Doolin in County Clare, where you’ll be met at the pier by your driver/guide.

From the mighty cliffs to the magical kingdom as we move from Clare to Kerry.

• This morning we visit the Cliffs of Moher. Here there is an option to take an off-the-beaten-track self-guided walk of the unspoilt region along the cliffs.
• If you or members of your group prefer not to do the walk, our driver/guide will bring you straight to the Cliffs of Moher centre.
• Here there is plenty to do and see, mini walking trails along the Cliffs, shops, cafes, gift stores and an amazing interactive museum about the cliffs and the surrounding region, wildlife and flora and fauna.
• After the Cliffs, you will get the chance to sample fresh seafood and local craft beers in a nice cosy Irish Pub. Discover the bustling and colourful seaside town of Lahinch.
• Watch out for dolphins as we take a ferry across the mighty mouth of the Shannon – the longest river in Ireland or Britain!
• En route, we will stop for what many travellers believe is their tour highlight, where you'll experience a local sheepdog demonstration on a nearby farm by the sea. Here you will have the opportunity to watch their purebred border collies Sam & Jess herding sheep on the farm. You'll also get the chance to bottle-feed baby lambs. 
• Roll into bustling Dingle just in time for a creamy pint of Guinness.

Overnight in Dingle

This morning we drive the famous and curvy Slea Head drive. Once described by National Geographic as the most beautiful place on earth, we drive along the edge of the peninsula with the wild Atlantic ocean to our left and the patchwork green fields to our right. You’ll discover local secluded beaches, and ancient stone huts and have plenty of free time to take photos and experience the majestic surroundings.

After lunch, you can stroll Dingle’s streets for a quirky mix of craft studios, lively pubs, fantastic food, and traditional Irish music.
